Radio & Voice

An experienced talk radio presenter, reporter and broadcast journalist. In the studio and out and about. My reporting recognised as one of the best moments of British radio in 2023.

  • Freelance Broadcast Journalist for BBC radio stations for over 10 years. Mainly out and about live interviews and inserts into shows. Also pre-recs and packages. BBC stations in the north, Radio 2, Radio 2, Radio 5, World Service etc.

  • Extensive radio newsroom experience, scripting news bulletins, guest planning and show booking etc.

  • Presenter on breakfast, news and fast moving general magazine shows on BCB 106.6fm.

  • Regular contributor to radio panel discussions on BBC England and news reviewer on BBC across Yorkshire.

  • My live insert into an outside broadcast was selected as one of the best moments of BBC Radio in 2023 in Pick of the Year and one of the radio industry’s Radio Moments of the Year.

    I always put a lot of myself and my story into my shows and inserts; no matter what I'm talking about I work to make it real. I'm often told I ask the questions or say the things viewers are thinking themselves.
